In November 2004, Carramar Golf Course Estate won an award for Environmental Excellence from the City of Wanneroo for salvaging native grasstrees.

Since salvaging commenced, Peet Limited, in conjunction with Re:plant(s), have salvaged over 2500 grasstrees - successfully transplanting them into new parks, Carramar Primary School and private properties within the estate.

This award bears testimony to Peet's primary objectives for the Carramar Estate of providing quality, cost effective infrastructure and the achievement of successful environmental and aesthetic outcomes.

Peet is a major force in the HIA GreenSmart program, being an accredited GreenSmart Regional Partner in Western Australia and the first company in Victoria to construct a GreenSmart display village (Innisfail Estate).
